Nylon Insert, Locking Thread Nuts – Type PL, PLC
The thread locking torque performance of Type PL and PLC self-clinching fasteners is equivalent to applicable NASM25027 specifications. A nylon hexagonal element provides a reusable, non-metallic prevailing torque thread lock. The strong knurled collar receives the installation force and resists torque. The spin resistance of the knurl greatly exceeds the torque that can be exerted by the self-locking feature.
About the nylon insert
1.Clinch nylon-insert lock nuts have a reusable nylon thread locking insert which prevents the mating screw thread becoming loose.
2.The C – PLC series are made of 300 series stainless steel and are suitable for press installation into material of up to 70HRB hardness.
